job-alerts-reader is part of Job Listing Filter, a personal project that checks job listings for signs of resume harvesting and ghost jobs.
It reads job alert emails from one Gmail account with read-only access. From each email it pulls out the job title, company, location, and link, then checks whether the job is posted on the company’s own job board and how long it has been listed. It is used only by its developer.
